Please see the new schedule on the inside page of this
newsletter. JBJ DOJO visiting Instructors. Due to the time of year and the difficulty for many students we were unable to host Chris Luth for a T’ai Chi Push Hands workshop this year. Kyo Sa Andy Hamer presented a Korean self-defense workshop in November. The workshop was very well attended and it was excellent. Other potential presenters include but are not limited to Von Krenner Sensei, Mitchell Sensei, and possibly Jewett Sensei, Sifu Arundel, and Higginbotham Sensei. Nidan Miller, Shodans Zumwalt, Thomas, Evans, Haaven, Johnson, Christenson, Fortenberry, Ensign, & Hilton. Christopher Miller recently visited Thailand and trained in Muay Thai for three weeks. He seemed pretty excited by the experience. He expects to visit soon. Travis Zumalt visited this fall with his wife and two children. He was looking at the possibility of moving here but has moved to Oregon l think. I received a short e-mail from Scott Thomas and look forward to hearing more from him. Jordan Evans visited during the Holiday break. He is still working in Bozeman as a research engineer. |
Jordan and Tyler Haaven continue to be close friends and get together a couple of times every year for mountain bicycling. Tyler Johnson is still at the University of Hawaii and he visited us during the holidays too. He trained with us one morning. Katie Christenson works at the Sportsman and is married and has a year and half old daughter. Robert Fortenberry is spending a year in Austria and has been traveling some. He sent me an email and lots of pictures of his travels. The last I heard, Zach Ensign works for his dad as an electrician. Neil Hilton visited during the Christmas break and he is doing very well and he is currently visiting Australia. Dojo Maintenance.Regular maintenance is scheduled and handled by the staff.
Special thanks to the staff; you have been doing an awesome
job this year.
Thank you Parents,
Friends and Staff.
As always I would like
to thank all of the students, parents, and friends of the Dojo.
